Certificate of Deposit
A Certificate of Deposit has a specific, fixed term (often 182 day, 1, 2, 3 and 5 years), and they will have a fixed interest rate. Interest rates will vary depending on the amount and length of time of the investment, but rates are higher than a savings account. CD’s are intended to be held until they reach maturity at which time you can withdraw the money and accrued interest or roll it over into a new term. These are a safe and excellent way to invest your money.
Individual Retirement Account
IRAs are another excellent investment opportunity. We offer both Traditional and Roth IRAs. Tax benefits apply with all IRAs depending on contribution amounts and income levels.
